VREEMDLAND
Social Lab Days

On the future of co-production, social innovation and social labs

What could the future of co-creation between residents and migrants look like? VREEMDLAND shares inspiring practices of social innovation in The Netherlands and Europe, working towards new scenarios of co-production. VREEMDLAND will be a podium of innovative case studies, as well as a playground of new ideas to help people address today’s societal challenges together.

VREEMDLAND Social Lab Days is a 3 day co-design event that blends presentations, discussions and workshops. Focused on co-production, social innovation and social labs, each day we work on specific topics and challenges presented by our team of hosts. This event is also a live demonstration of how we envision social labs: as a platform for local communities, creatives, entrepreneurs and governments to co-create innovative solutions to today’s societal urgencies. We invite you to join our journey to address these challenges together.

The event will be hosted in English.

What role do social labs play in stimulating societal change? What problems should they work on? And on what scale? How can we address integration on a local and (inter)national level? Can independent projects support one another? Based on several frameworks and case studies we are working on, we invite you to join us in an engaging discussion and workshop to answer these questions together.
